1. Who we are

Agents Applied ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at agentsapplied.com and provides a weekly AI research digest newsletter. You can contact us at contact@agentsapplied.com.

2. Information we collect

When you subscribe, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your name, job title, and company (provided during onboarding)
• Your country (used to optimise email delivery timing for your timezone)
• The date you subscribed
• Records of emails we have sent you

We do not collect payment information or any information beyond what you explicitly provide.

We also collect basic, anonymised usage analytics (page views, feature usage) through PostHog to improve the service. See the Cookies section below for details.

3. How we use your information

• To send you our weekly AI research newsletter
• To authenticate you via magic link (passwordless sign-in)
• To personalise your dashboard experience
• To use your country to optimise the time of day we deliver emails
• To honour unsubscribe requests and manage your email preferences

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for advertising.

Our platform includes a share feature that lets subscribers send individual articles to other people by email. If someone shares an article with you, we process your email address solely to deliver that single email. We do not store the recipient's email or subscribe them to any mailing list.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Your data is stored in an EU-region Postgres database.
• Resend — email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend solely to deliver newsletters, authentication emails, and shared articles.
• Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions.
• PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics. Used to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. PostHog processes anonymised usage data and does not sell or share it.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your profile is marked as inactive but your account data is retained so you can re-subscribe. To request full deletion of your data, email us at contact@agentsapplied.com.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies required for authentication (session tokens set by Supabase).

PostHog may set a cookie to distinguish unique visitors for analytics purposes. This data is anonymised and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use any advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
